Taylor Swift Announces New Album 'Reputation'

After levels of speculation the music world rarely sees, Taylor Swift has confirmed new music is coming.

The global megastar took to social media on Wednesday (8/23) to announce Reputation, her first new album in three years, will drop November 10.

The news follows last week’s digital darkness, during which Taylor went black on her official website and removed all traces of herself on social media.

Subsequently, she posted three separate clips of what fans now know to be a snake, igniting a flood of rumors, fan theories and conflicting stories on the web.

Despite the confirmation of a new album and single, questions still remain. How does the snake fit into Taylor’s new music? Will the one-time country phenomenon kick off her new era with a performance—potentially with longtime nemesis Katy Perry?—this Sunday on the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards?

The first single from Reputation is set for release tomorrow night (8/24).
