The Hershey Bears have announced two additional events that will be part of the festivities surrounding the 2018 Capital BlueCross Outdoor Classic at Hersheypark Stadium. Pepsi Fan Fest will take place on Jan. 19-20, while the puck will drop on the 2018 Capital Blue Cross Outdoor Classic Alumni Game on Friday, Jan. 19 at 7 p.m. Both events are included in ticket packages for the 2018 Capital BlueCross Outdoor Classic, which go on sale this Friday, August 18, at 10 a.m.
"The Hershey Bears have a rich tradition and a vast group of impressive alumni," said Vice President of Hockey Operations Bryan Helmer. "We cannot wait to welcome many of the franchise's best players back for the 2018 Outdoor Classic Alumni Game. We believe that Pepsi Fan Fest, and the Alumni Game will be great events to kick-start a fantastic weekend in Hershey."
Pepsi Fan Fest will open the weekend, giving all fans who have purchased a ticket an opportunity to enjoy interactive activities, live entertainment, and special events with alumni. Pepsi Fan Fest will take place prior to the Alumni Game and 2018 Capital BlueCross Outdoor Classic on Friday and Saturday afternoon. The two-day event will feature the iHeartRadio Entertainment Stage, which will showcase local musical talents and an up-and-coming artist. Additional announcements on live entertainment and further details will be announced in the coming months.
The 2018 Capital BlueCross Outdoor Classic Alumni Game will welcome many of Hershey’s historic players back to the ice. A full roster will be available in the coming months, and further details regarding the 2018 Capital BlueCross Outdoor Classic Alumni Game will be unveiled soon.
Both the Alumni Game, and Pepsi Fan Fest will be included in ticket packages for the 2018 Capital BlueCross Outdoor Classic. Additionally, all ticket packages include a pass good for admission to Hersheypark.
