>Common Cause Asks for Volunteer Poll, Social Media Monitors
(Harrisburg, PA) -- A non-partisan group is asking for people to help make sure voting goes smoothly in Pennsylvania's upcoming elections. Common Cause PA says it needs volunteers for its Election Protection program for the midterm and presidential elections. The group is asking for Poll Monitors to identify issues at balloting locations and what they call "Roving" Poll Monitors who can go between polling places to check on lines, signs and poll preparation. Additionally, the group needs Social Media Monitors to re-post about issues at the polls and to report election-related misinformation.
