Governor Unveils Pennsylvania Outdoor Business Alliance
(Harrisburg, PA) -- Governor Josh Shapiro is looking to the great outdoors to improve economic opportunity for the state. He recently unveiled the Pennsylvania Outdoor Business Alliance to court companies that are active in recreational and outdoor activities. State and local policymakers have been eyeing the so-called outdoor economy as an engine of economic development. The outdoor economy involves spending on outdoor gear and vehicles, as well as trips and travel.
