Are you looking for a new job and want to make sure you find a good company this time? Well, “Fortune” has just made things a little easier, with their annual list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For, although whether they’re hiring is another story.
The mag compiled their list using a variety of employee surveys, which asked questions about things like quality of their leaders, support for their personal and professional lives, and their relationships with colleagues. Other factors include compensation and benefits, hiring practices, recognition, training, and diversity programs.
Coming in at number one for the sixth straight year, and the eighth time in 11 years, is Google. The report finds that 97% of Google employees rate it as a great place to work, with great perks, like free lunch, snacks, and even massage therapy and fitness classes. They also get expanded benefits like 110 days of fully-paid maternity leave, and 60 days paternity leave.
