(Harrisburg, PA) -- Organizers say hundreds were in attendance for the public viewing for a 14-year-old Harrisburg teen shot and killed last month. The group gathered to remember Tyrone Gibson at Reservoir Park Thursday after the teen was shot and killed May 26th near Kensington and South 24th Street. There are no suspects identified in the shooting.

(Lebanon, PA) -- Officials say despite some heated moments, a protest through Lebanon remained peaceful Thursday. The event was planned to remain in front of the Lebanon County Courthouse, before evolving into a march across several miles of the city. The crowd could be heard chanting as they processed around town before dispersing hours later.

(Harrisburg, PA) -- There are more than half of Pennsylvania’s counties in Governor Tom Wolf’s green reopening phase. Starting today, 18 more counties enter the phase along with the remaining nine red phased counties moving into yellow. There are no Midstate counties in the Wolf’s green phase yet.

(Harrisburg, PA) -- State Health Department officials are adding 537 more coronavirus cases to its statewide total. That brings the Commonwealth to nearly 74-thousand confirmed or probable cases since the start of the pandemic. They also announced 75 more deaths across P-A, with the death toll standing at 58-hundred-17.

(Pittsburgh, PA) -- A UPMC doctor says he is seeing less severe COVID-19 cases at this point during the pandemic. Doctor Don Yealy tells a Pittsburgh television station total amount of virus looks as if it has come down. Yealy adds that even when people test positive for coronavirus, they seem to have less of it.
>>Adams County Mom Faces Charges For Child’s Death
(Tyrone Twp., PA) -- A mom from Adams County is facing charges for the death of her 15-month-old daughter. Felisha Ellis claims she dropped her daughter on May 9th at their home on the 1,900-block of Upper Bermudian Road in Tyrone Township and the young girl stopped breathing. The child was flown to Penn State Hershey Medical Center where doctors say they found serious injuries not consistent with a simple fall. It’s believed the 26-year-old admitted to repeatedly shaking the baby, who died May 31st.

(York, PA) -- A York city police officer is off of public duty after being accused of being involved in the reenactment of the George Floyd death. Mayor Michael Helfrich says the officer is on desk duty while evidence of the reenactment is collected. So far, there is no evidence of the reenactment. If there were, Helfrich is quoted as saying the officer would be gone already.
>>Mail-In Ballots Still Being Counted Across PA
(Harrisburg, PA) -- Mail-in ballots are still being counted across Pennsylvania following Tuesday’s primary elections. Several races on the Democratic side, including determining whether Eugene DePasquale or Tom Brier will face incumbent Scott Perry in the Tenth Congressional District race, remain undecided. Six counties, including Dauphin County, were given extensions until today to receive mail-in ballots for counting. Those ballots still had to be postmarked or received at a polling place by the close of voting on Tuesday night.

(Susquehanna Twp., PA) -- Widener University’s Commonwealth School of Law is naming its interim dean. They are turning to Michael Hussey to lead the school after Christian Johnson stepped down to teach full-time. Hussey will take the help July 1st. University officials say they intend to provide as much on-campus education as it can while meeting health guidelines set out by the Commonwealth and the C-D-C.
>>Man In Custody For Alleged Threats To Burn Down Lancaster Police Station
(Lancaster, PA) -- A 39-year-old man is accused of threatening to burn down the Lancaster city police station. Gerald Grauert was taken into custody yesterday morning during a traffic stop near East King and Broad streets. Cops were notified to someone making statements about burning the station down on Sunday. A K-nine trailed in detecting explosives reportedly indicated an odor during a sweep of Grauert’s vehicle during the traffic stop.
>>Boscovs Reopens Eleven Retail Stores Saturday
(Exeter Twp., PA) -- Officials with Boscovs say they are reopening their three Reading-area retail stores tomorrow, along with ten others in surrounding counties. In mid-March, the Berks County-based retailer closed all of their 49 stores amid the coronavirus pandemic. Representatives say they have implemented a number of procedures, including requiring face masks, to protect employees and shoppers.
