Gabby Barrett Joins Colton Dixon On Empowering Anthem: 'Build A Boat'

Gabby Barrett joined Colton Dixon for a powerful duet that the pair of American Idol alums debuted on Friday (January 27). Dixon initially released “Build a Boat” last year. He shared on Friday, as he released the new version of the track featuring Barrett, that “Build a Boat” is “all about faith and perseverance.”

Barrett’s voice blends perfectly into the new version of the inspiring anthem with Dixon. Its release comes as the country star is working on her sophomore album. She previously teased the project, asking social media followers: “What do you want to hear? Who do you want a duet with?” The upcoming album will follow Barrett’s debut collection, Goldmine, which was extended with a few additional songs in 2021.
