Brad Paisley mourned for his former home of Pacific Palisades, a neighborhood in Los Angeles, California, as he shared a heartfelt message to those impacted by the devastating wildfire in the area.

Thousands of residents were under evacuation orders because of the blaze. Paisley, 52, said he and his wife, actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley, 53, “lived in Pacific Palisades for years.

“It was the first house Kim and I bought together,” he said. “Memories were made with some of our dearest friends- the first nursery we had to prep, the birthing classes with Kevin Nealon and Susan Yeagley. Walking to the local restaurants, the Gelson's, and the Starbucks. That beautiful old house burned last night. As did most of that community. So many good people displaced, devastated and cast out all over LA.

“I would post a link to donate or raise awareness or something but it all feels so much bigger than that. I don't know where to begin,” Paisley admitted. “I’m sure those of you reading this will find some way to help if you can, but mostly right now I just want to mourn the loss of a town. And acknowledge the beauty and the memories of what it was.”

Paisley promised to post information about resources to help those impacted by the fire when he can track down the right link. He said “it is all so tragic and sad,” and sends “love to you all,” he wrote in the conclusion of his post. Williams-Paisley was among the first commenters: “Beautiful post, thank you. I don’t have the words right now. 💔💔💔”

Other celebrities have opened up about the devastation on Wednesday (January 8), including Mandy Moore, Mark Hamill, Spencer Pratt and others who were affected. For updated information, find iHeartRadio's "24/7 News" podcast. See Paisley's post below.
