A hazardous oil spill occurred in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday night (April 29), temporarily closing a key intersection in Conoy Township. The spill was reported around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Turnpike Road, Hess Road, and Black Swamp Road. According to WHP-TV, a "long trail" of oil was discovered at the site, prompting the closure of the intersection as hazmat crews worked to clean up the scene.
The intersection has since reopened, and no injuries have been reported. The cause of the spill remains unknown.
