In Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, a man was rescued after being trapped under a pallet on Tuesday (August 12). The incident occurred at a facility on the 200 block of Reading Road in East Earl Township. Emergency services received a call around 11:19 a.m. and quickly responded to the scene.
While trapped, the man suffered additional injuries when an object fell from a rack and struck his head. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) officials worked diligently to free him from the pallet. Once freed, the man was transported to a hospital for further treatment. His current condition remains unknown, according to Local 21 News.
The incident highlights the risks present in industrial environments and the importance of workplace safety measures. As of now, there is no further information on the cause of the accident or the identity of the injured man.
