A man is in custody after allegedly firing a shotgun at a nightclub in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Early Saturday morning (August 23), police responded to reports of gunfire at a club on North Ninth Street. Authorities identified the suspect as 57-year-old Melvin Robles, who had been removed from the club earlier due to behavioral issues.
According to the Lebanon City Police, Robles returned to the club with a shotgun and fired at the front door. The blast resulted in one person sustaining a minor injury from shattered glass, though no one was hit by gunfire. Robles was apprehended and arrested two hours after the initial incident.
Robles faces several charges, including aggravated assault, discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure, reckless endangerment, and simple assault. The police department urges anyone with information about the incident to contact them or submit a tip through Crimewatch.
The investigation is ongoing, and Robles remains in custody as legal proceedings continue.
