Easy things to do to celebrate Earth Day

Earth Day is April 22.It began in 1970 to demonstrate support for environmental protection.It now includes a wide range of events coordinated globally by EARTHDAY.ORG

Here are 10 things you can do to participate:

  1. Add some plants to your home
  2. Join the Official Earth Day Event
  3. Get outside
  4. Unplug items in your house. Unplugging electronic appliances that are not being used can save you money and electronics.
  5. Declutter; Recycle or Donate!

  7. Pick up trash outside in parking lots or parks
  8. Do a nature scavenger hunt with your kids
