(Williamsport, PA) -- With the winter storm, PennDOT is advising motorists to be mindful of the roads today. Crews were out overnight treating and plowing roadways but advise that there will be icy spots. They remind people to be ready for the unexpected. That includes having a full tank of gas and an emergency kit just in case.

(Undated) - Some major roads in central Pennsylvania have lower speed limits right now. PennDOT is reducing speeds to 45 miles per hour on Interstates 81, 83 and 283 plus Routes 15, 22, 30, 222, 283 and 581. Commercial vehicles are asked to move to the right lane on roads with speed restrictions. There is not a reduced speed limit on I-78 in Lebanon County.
