>>Mexico Added To CDC's List Of "Very High" Risk Places To Travel
(Undated) -- The CDC is adding Mexico and 11 other destinations to its "Very High" risk level for travel. The agency also added Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Singapore, the Philippines and more to their highest risk category for travel on Monday. Places on the Level Four "Very High" risk category are seeing more than 500 cases of COVID-19 per 100-thousand residents in the last four weeks. The very high risk category now consists of 130 places, up from 80 in early January. The increase has been caused by the widespread circulation of the Omicron [[ AHM-ih-cron ]] variant around the world.
