(New York, NY) -- Gumby and friends are headed to Fox. The entertainment company announced that it has acquired all rights to the classic clay character and all his friends. Fox plans to develop a new animated series along with live-action content. The deal with the estate of the son of Gumby creator Art Clokey also included the full "Gumby" library, adding to the current library available on Fox's Tubi streaming platform. Gumby has had two previous television series air in the 1950s and 1988, along with a movie released in 1995.
