CBS 21 Weather Warn Day

*WEATHER WARN DAY* FOR ICE:

A period of freezing rain will continue through the morning commute. As a result, morning travel will be very tricky. We can expect the rain and freezing rain to wrap up from west to east between 10am and Noon. Temperatures will eventually rise this afternoon into the low 40s allowing much of the ice to melt this afternoon and this evening.

SATURDAY *WEATHER WARN DAY* FOR SNOW AND ICE:

Another weather maker moves in on Saturday with another wintry mix, this one looks to arrive later in the day so plan on running your weekend errands in the morning. We can expect an initial burst of snow after 1PM before temperatures warm and change things over to sleet and freezing rain after 5PM. Once again, travel will be very slick on Saturday night. The precipitation will wrap up early Sunday morning and by Sunday afternoon temperatures will warm to around 40 so travel to and from your Super Bowl events will be okay.

MORE WINTRY WEATHER:

The pattern is active and it looks like we could be seeing more wintry weather by Tuesday of next week.. so stay tuned!
