"Somebody's Daughter" Singer Drew Baldridge is a proud Daddy to a new baby boy
Baldridge has given country music hit songs like "Rebound", "Senior Year" and his latest smash "Somebody's Daughter" (that he wrote for his wife for their wedding). He just got 2021 in a beautiful ceremony in Nashville, to which our morning host Otis attended.
The couple just celebrated their 1 year anniversary followed up by a new bundle of joy. Lyric Lee Baldridge was 7lbs 9oz and born at 9:52 a.m. Monday.
Baldrige just released his 4th studio album called "Country Born", one of the best albums in country for 2022. If you haven't heard of him or checked it out, I highly suggest you give it a listen. He hails from Southern, IL and just put on a hometown festival with Crag Campbell and more that drew over 2,000 people to a farm field in Patoka, IL (his hometown.)
His wife Katie told People "We are overwhelmed with love and excitement getting to finally meet our baby boy. He's the best gift for Christmas that we could ask for." Drew actually just released his first Christmas song about exactly that. It's called "Best Gift For Christmas" that he wrote about the gift that he was about to receive in a baby boy. He said that Lyric has always been a name that stuck in his head for an eventual child one day.
