K-12 Students To Continue Getting Free Meals

>>K-12 Students To Continue Getting Free Meals

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Public schools throughout the state are going to continue offering students free meals this upcoming school year. State Secretary of Education Noe Ortega says this is thanks to the U.S. Department of Agriculture releasing waivers and eligibility guidelines so schools can offer free meals without using federal income guidelines. Ortega encourages K through 12 schools across the state to take advantage of the waivers to ensure that students continue to have access to free, nutritious meals.
