(Cumberland County, PA) -- The Cumberland County School board has made a move to go "mask optional" for its students and staff members. One option for the health and safety plan discussed at their meeting Monday night would have made masking optional starting January 10th. But the board voted in a five to three tally to move ahead with masking optional for January 17th instead. They say this will give them time to monitor the case count if further changes are needed.
