(Lancaster, PA) -- Three people are facing charges after blocking a Lancaster city street yesterday during a demonstration. The three were among a crowd of about 30 taking part in the protest that started at Penn Square. The group had marched through downtown toward the police station near West Chestnut Street. Two women entered the street with a sign, forcing traffic to go around them. A man then reportedly blocked traffic causing a backup onto Prince Street. Police say organizers spoke with police prior to the event regarding guidance on how to exercise their First Amendment rights while complying with the law.
