(Harrisburg, PA) -- Swatara Township Police are searching for a missing 14-year-old girl. Shabika Tamang was last seen in the 300 block of Sweetbriar Drive Wednesday morning. She is the second teen reported missing in Swatara Township this week, with 13-year-old Leily Morales-Hernandez reported missing from her Chambers Hill Road as well. Anyone with information regarding about where Tamang may be is asked to contact the Swatara Police.

(York, PA) -- Members of the Pennsylvania Legislative Black Caucus are pushing for unity on both sides after an event in York Wednesday. The panel on police reform included prominent leaders in the law enforcement community and local religious leaders.  York City Police Commissioner Osborne Robinson said they need to continue to develop greater public safety strategies and produce common bonds in cities and neighborhoods.

>>Non-Profit Says It Cleaned Up Over 200 Used Heroin Needles At One Allison Hill Property

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Members of a local non-profit say they found 213 used heroin needles during a clean-up in Harrisburg’s Allison Hill. Wildhart Ministries performed the cleanup at one property and found the used needles just two days after it was previously cleaned up. A spokesperson for Harrisburg’s city codes department says they haven’t had a complaint at the Buckthorn Street property since 1999. The property is registered as a rental property.

(Hampden Twp., PA) -- Officials with U-P-M-C say they plan to expand the Pinnacle West Shore emergency department at the end of the month. The expansion will give the hospital 30-percent more space than what they have now, with 54 additional beds added in all private rooms, as well as new operating rooms. The I-C-U will also be expanded.

(Harrisburg, PA) -- The Pennsylvania Department of Health is confirming an additional 705 new positive COVID-19 cases in the commonwealth. Wednesday’s announcement brought the statewide total to 115-thousand 714 confirmed or probable coronavirus cases since the start of the pandemic. There were 12 additional deaths reported Wednesday, with the death toll rising to 72-hundred-44 due to COVID-19 complications.

>>Judge Orders Smoker To Stand Trial On Kidnapping Of Amish Teen

(Lancaster, PA) -- A judge is ordering a Lancaster County man to stand trial on charges that he kidnapped an Amish teenager. Justo Smoker is accused of kidnapping and false imprisonment in the abduction of 18-year-old Linda Stoltzfoos. He remains locked up in the Lancaster County Prison. Stoltzfoos was last seen walking home from a church event in the Bird in Hand area on June 21st.

(York, PA) -- York city officials say someone breached City Hall’s security system and physically damaged its I-T infrastructure. The breech last night shutdown access to landline phone numbers. It’s reported that some web services are available while city files and services are limited. The person believed to be responsible was taken into custody and charges are reportedly pending.

>>Police Investigate McDonald’s Robbery In Penn Township, Lancaster County

(Penn Twp., PA) -- Northern Lancaster County Regional Police are investigating a robbery at a McDonald's in Penn Township, Lancaster County. An employee was leaving the store, in the 700 block of Lancaster Road Wednesday evening when they were confronted by a person holding a knife and a blunt force weapon. It’s alleged a deposit bag was dropped by the employee, which the suspect took and left the scene, running into a commercial area behind the McDonalds. No one was injured.

>>Three Facing Charges For Blocking Lancaster Street During Demonstration

(Lancaster, PA) -- Three people are facing charges after blocking a Lancaster city street yesterday during a demonstration. The three were among a crowd of about 30 taking part in the protest that started at Penn Square. The group had marched through downtown toward the police station near West Chestnut Street. Two women entered the street with a sign, forcing traffic to go around them. A man then reportedly blocked traffic causing a backup onto Prince Street. Police say organizers spoke with police prior to the event regarding guidance on how to exercise their First Amendment rights while complying with the law.

>>York Cop On Unpaid Leave After Allegedly Mocking George Floyd’s Death

(York, PA) -- A police officer for the city of York is now on unpaid leave after allegedly mocking the death of George Floyd. It’s reported three women filed formal complaints against Officer Clayton Swartz in June after he allegedly reenacted Floyd’s death while at a graduation party. Swartz will go before a trial board on August 19th. Swartz is the son of Spring Garden Township’s Police Chief George Swartz.
