The hospital and its foundation announced yesterday that the ceremony that was originally scheduled to take place later today is now being rescheduled for next Thursday at 7:00 p.m. The ceremony will take place on the lawn in front of the hospital's clock tower at Sixth Avenue and Spruce Street in West Reading.

(Reading, PA) -- A man who is being accused of shooting and killing another man in Reading is returning after he was arrested in New York City recently. Robert Saintkitts returned to Reading this past Monday night which is about two weeks after he was taken into custody by police in New York City. His preliminary hearing is scheduled to take place April 9th. He is facing several charges including first-and-third-degree murder for being involved in the shooting death of Francisco Soto in the area of North 10th and Buttonwood streets last month. Another suspect involved in the murder, Alexander Peguero-Severino, remains at-large.

(Lancaster, PA) -- A new music program is being launched in Lancaster to offer free private lessons for young musicians in the area. The Lancaster-based organization, Music for Everyone, announced yesterday that it recently launched its new program called MusiCorps. The program is made up of 20 local music teachers who are volunteering their time to teach students how to play many different instruments including voice and guitar. (Reading, PA) -- The Reading Fightin Phils are releasing the start times for the rest of their 2021 season home games. The team announced yesterday that games held Tuesday-through-Friday will start at 7:05 p.m. and Saturday games will start at 6:45 p.m. The Phils' home-opener is scheduled to take place at FirstEnergy Stadium on May 4th. Officials say that promotional events for the home games in May will be announced soon.

(West Reading, PA) -- Customers Bank's C-E-O and President is going to retire soon after serving more than 50 years in the business. Richard Ehst announced recently that he will be retiring from the Berks-based banking company on July First. Samvir Sidhu is going to be fulfilling in the vacated role after Ehst's retirement. Sidhu is currently serving as vice chairman and chief operating officer.
