>>Pennsylvania Supreme Court Rules In Favor Of Amazon Workers
(Breinigsville, PA) -- The Pennsylvania Supreme Court is ruling in favor of Amazon workers in a more than seven-year-old lawsuit. In 2013, Amazon employees from the Breinigsville warehouse filed a lawsuit against the company for making them clock out before mandatory security screenings. The employees want to be paid for the time spent waiting and having their bags checked. The court ruled in their favor, saying workers don't have to actually be doing work related to their job in order to get paid under the Minimum Wage Act. Now, employers across the state must pay employees if they want to search their things.
