>>Harrisburg Firefighters Come Home
(Harrisburg, PA) -- Firefighters from Harrisburg who traveled to the Pacific Northwest to battle wildfires have returned home. The crew of 20 firefighters spent almost three weeks in Idaho battling wildfires that are destroying homes, land and businesses. So far, the Pioneer Fire has burned 355 acres and forced the evacuation of 30 families form their homes. The other major fire the Harrisburg crews fought is the Trestle Creek Complex Fire. It has so far destroyed nearly 35-hundred acres. It's believed to have started from a lightning storm.
