(Harrisburg, PA) -- Additional assistance is available for state agencies, county and municipal governments, and other eligible non-profits impacted by the remnants of hurricane Ida. The federal government recently approved the governor's request for public assistance for these entities in Bedford, Fulton, Huntingdon, Luzerne, Philadelphia, Schuylkill, and York counties. Governor Tom Wolf says the public assistance declaration is a critical and needed resource for our communities to support the costs associated and rebuilding infrastructure and public property. Eligible applicants can be reimbursed up to 75-percent for the costs associated with the disaster and state funding is set aside to cover the remaining 25-percent.
