>Police Looking For Suspect In York County Fatal Shooting

(York County, PA) -- Police are looking for a man accused of shooting and killing another man involved in a domestic violence incident. Police say on October 3rd a woman reported that she was allegedly assaulted by Selvin Harris McEwan, which left the woman with facial fractures. Witnesses reportedly told police that they attempted to calm McEwan before Christian Galarza-Rodriguez showed up at the residence with a knife, causing McEwan to pull out two. The situation was de-escalated and McEwan was gathering his things to leave when Galarza-Rodriguez allegedly fired multiple shots at McEwan, killing him. It is not known if Galarza-Rodriguez had any ties with the couple, but he is prohibited from possessing a gun due to a felony drug conviction and is at large.

>>Crews Work To Put Out Fire In Lancaster County

(Lancaster County, PA) -- Fire crews from Lebanon, Lancaster and Berks counties are working to put out a house fire after a car crashed into it. Officials say a car struck another and caused it to crash into the home around 7:30 p.m. last night near Route-897 and North Cocalico Road in Lancaster County. The house caught on fire after. Officials say the drivers of both cars suffered minor injuries and no one was at the home when the fire started.

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Seventy percent of adults statewide are now vaccinated for COVID-19. Governor Wolf made the announcement on Twitter, calling it "huge progress" for protecting people. Wolf adds that the state will roll out booster shots and also announce vaccines for younger children.

>>Berks County Coroner Identifies Shillington Fire Victim

(Shillington, PA) -- The Berks County coroner's office says the woman killed in a Saturday fire in Shillington has been identified as 49-year-old Candy Gray. Smoke inhalation caused her death according to her autopsy. Gray was found dead on the second floor. The fire is still under investigation.

>>Reading Man Pleads Guilty To Murder

(Reading, PA) -- A Reading man is pleading guilty during his murder trial. Thirty-six-year-old Jonathan Malave's trial started Tuesday, and he pleaded guilty to third-degree murder, robbery, and conspiracy to commit robbery. He was sentenced to 17 to 34 years in prison for killing 17-year-old David Doyle the Third.

>>Additional Assistance Available For Pennsylvanians Impacted By Ida Remnants

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Additional assistance is available for state agencies, county and municipal governments, and other eligible non-profits impacted by the remnants of hurricane Ida. The federal government recently approved the governor's request for public assistance for these entities in Bedford, Fulton, Huntingdon, Luzerne, Philadelphia, Schuylkill, and York counties. Governor Tom Wolf says the public assistance declaration is a critical and needed resource for our communities to support the costs associated and rebuilding infrastructure and public property. Eligible applicants can be reimbursed up to 75-percent for the costs associated with the disaster and state funding is set aside to cover the remaining 25-percent.

>>Former Luzerne County Children And Youth Services Director Pleads Guilty

(Luzerne County, PA) -- The former Children and Youth Services director for Luzerne County is pleading guilty to multiple charges. During the summer, the Pennsylvania attorney general's office accused Joanne Van Saun of directing employees to delete at least 217 reports of child abuse and neglect that were part of a backlog in 2017. She reportedly ordered them to do it without investigating the reports and seeing if further action was necessary. Van Saun resigned from her position in July of this year when the charges were filed and she pled guilty yesterday to charges of endangering the welfare of children and obstruction in child abuse cases. She will be sentenced at a later date.

>>State Senator Bob Mensch Retiring

(Berks County, PA) -- State Senator Bob Mensch, who serves part of Berks County, is retiring. Mensch made the announcement yesterday, saying he will retire when his term ends in 2023 and he wanted to announce it now to give candidates time to prepare. The 76-year-old plans on taking some more time for himself, his family and friends when he retires.

>>Students Play Around with Pellet Gun

(Upper Darby, PA) -- Two students in Delaware County have been suspended after they shot their classmates with a pellet gun. It all started Wednesday when a fourth grader brought the pellet gun to a bus stop. The youngster shot two students there and then shot another during the ride to school. Administration says that one of the students was shot again when the gun was handed off to someone else. That's when the bus driver intervened and confiscated the gun. None of the students were hurt and an investigation continues surrounding this incident.

>>Eagles Fall Step Short on Thursday Night Football

(Philadelphia, PA) -- Eagles fans are cautiously proud of their squad after going toe-to-toe with the defending champions. Philadelphia lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last night 28-to-22 after scoring 15-unanswered points late in the second half. The Eagles offense struggled all night as they didn't get over 100-yards of total offense until the fourth quarter. Philly's defense played solid against a very good Tampa Bay offense. Philly will get a few extra days off before they begin preparing for a road matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders next Sunday.
