(Undated) -- Rent prices are continuing to trend upwards across the U.S. Cost of rent was roughly 10-percent higher last year than in the year 2020, growing five times faster than it did over the first year of the pandemic. The news comes per Realtor-dot-com's Monthly Rental Report. December was the sixth-straight month of double-digit annual increases, with national median rent for a one-bedroom up close to 20-percent from the previous year. Miami saw the largest hike in rent over the previous year, jumping up almost 50-percent from where it was the previous year.
