>Attorney General Calls Central PA Human Trafficking Case "Extremely Disturbing"
(Harrisburg, PA) -- Charges have been filed against a Pennsylvania man for operating a human trafficking operation in a case Attorney General Michelle Henry has called "extremely disturbing." Henry announced 47 charges against Joseph "Jay" Pulizzi, who is 37 and from Chambersburg. Investigators say Pulizzi ran his operation in Cumberland, Dauphin, Perry and York counties and that many of the women he recruited were suffering with substance abuse, homelessness and other hardships. The women testified that they were afraid to ask for help because Pulizzi used violence and threatened them. He's being held in Dauphin County after bail was denied. His preliminary hearing is May 25th.
