(Harrisburg, PA) - A young political activist and recent college graduate has been appointed to a new advisory commission in Governor Shapiro's office. Emmaus grad and Lehigh County Democratic Committee member Aidan Levinson has joined the new Commission on Next Generation Engagement. Officials say its goal is to provide insight to the administration on the experiences and needs of Pennsylvania's "next generation," or people aged 16-26. The young people will be officially sworn-in soon and will serve a two-year term.
