New Harrisburg University Of Science And Technology Building Now Open

(Harrisburg, PA) -- A new 100-million-dollar building that houses programs for university students has been officially opened in Harrisburg. The new UPMC and Harrisburg University of Science and Technology building at 222 Chestnut Street is the latest addition to the skyline. Its 11 stories hold classes and programs for students studying health sciences and advanced manufacturing. The school has not disclosed what Pittsburgh-based UPMC paid for naming rights to the facility, but a recent consultant's report said the donation was in the high seven figures for rights that will last ten years.
