Federal Lawmakers to Investigate University Of Pennsylvania Leaders For Antisemitism
(Harrisburg, PA) -- A U.S. House Committee is investigating three top universities, including the University of Pennsylvania. The House Committee on Education and the Workforce announced the move Thursday after the institutions' leaders failed to explicitly say that students' calling for the genocide of Jews violates their code of conduct. The calls for the investigation follows a heated line of questioning for University of Pennsylvania President Liz Magill and the presidents of Harvard and MIT, who testified before a committee hearing Tuesday.
