More Plans Announced for Harrisburg Mall
(Swatara Township, PA) -- Some businesses are staying and some are going as plans continue to develop for re-building the Harrisburg Mall. St. John Properties had earlier announced plans to redevelop the Swatara Township site in a project to be called the Swatara Exchange following demolition next year. Nearly 20 business have left the property over the last couple of years. But others, including Bath & Body Works, Foot Locker, Second and Charles, LensCrafters and DXL Men's Apparel - among others - have not announced plans to move. Bass Pro Shops will remain under this new development plan, as will the Applebee's restaurant and a nearby building that formerly housed Toys 'R' Us.
