PA Farm Show Opens this Weekend
(Harrisburg, PA) -- Opening weekend for the Pennsylvania farm show is upon us. The 108th annual event begins Saturday and lasts through January 13th at the Farm Show Complex and Expo Center in Harrisburg. In addition to learning about the state's agricultural offerings and the chance to pet baby animals, a couple of new attractions this year include a Preferred Mullet Contest and veggie decorating. This year's Pennsylvania Dairymen's Association milkshake flavor will be salted caramel. The farming industry contributes about 133-billion-dollars each year to the state economy.
