>Several More Rite Aids Closing In Central PA
(Harrisburg, PA) -- About a dozen more Rite Aid Stores will be closing down in Central Pennsylvania. The Philadelphia-based company announced more closures Wednesday due to reported annual losses over the past few years. The drug-store chain has faced opioid prescription lawsuits and has reached several settlements so far. Thirteen more stores are shutting down in Pennsylvania with most of them in the Philadelphia area. However, three are in the mid-central region. Those are on Milford Road in East Stroudsburg, on North Atherton Street in State College and on West Market Street in York.
