Man Tells Troopers He Gave Chase Because He Didn't Want A Ticket
(Harrisburg, PA) -- State police say a Philadelphia man was doing a hundred-and-forty miles-per-hour when he was pulled over on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Court records show 25-year-old Schnyder Levasseur told troopers he gave chase because he didn't want a ticket for having a loud exhaust system. State police were able to arrest him after he crashed near Exit 247 for Harrisburg after failing to navigate the curve on the exit ramp. Levasseur is being held in the Dauphin County Prison on over ten traffic violations as well as charges of evading officers.
