Shapiro Being Vetted For Harris VP Slot
(Harrisburg, PA) -- Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro is on the short list of options for Kamala Harris's running mate. The Harris campaign has reportedly requested vetting materials from Shapiro for the vice presidential spot on the Democratic ticket. Other options include North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper and Arizona Senator Mark Kelly. The party is working to settle on a pick as the Democratic National Convention is just weeks away.

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Pennsylvania's governor says he didn't turn in the paperwork to be Kamala Harris' vice president. Governor Josh Shapiro yesterday told reporters that he was not asked, and has not submitted any kind of paperwork. Shapiro is considered by many to be on Harris' short-list for VP picks. Yesterday he said he doesn't know what kind of list he is on. Shapiro said he's focused on Pennsylvania, and doing the work to beat former President Trump in this state.
