Dan Meuser Smokes The Competition

Republican Representative Daniel Meuser has been reelected to the U.S. House of Representatives, securing his fourth term in Pennsylvania's 9th Congressional District. The 60-year-old former state revenue secretary and business owner was first elected in 2018 and has since maintained a strong hold in his heavily Republican district, which includes Montour and Northumberland counties.

In the recent election, Meuser defeated Democrat Amanda Waldman. The Associated Press declared Meuser the winner at 9:41 p.m. EST on Tuesday. His victory reaffirms the Republican stronghold in northeastern Pennsylvania, contributing to the party's representation in Congress.
