(Perry County, PA) -- A roofer in Perry County is accused of violating the Child Labor Act. Officials say 47-year-old Samuel Lapp had children working full days on the roofs of structures with multiple stories without safety equipment. Authorities said Lapp was warned to stop putting children in hazardous work environments several times before he was charged last week. He was previously fined over 60-thousand-dollars by the Department of Labor in 2023.
