Police in Franklin County, Pennsylvania, have successfully apprehended Brett Davis, a fugitive wanted in multiple states, after a year and a half of evading law enforcement. Davis was captured inside an apartment attic in Blue Ridge Summit, as reported by the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.
Davis faced numerous charges in Delaware and Maryland, including motor vehicle theft, fleeing and eluding, assault, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, and various drug and firearm offenses. Sheriff Benjamin H. Sites emphasized the dedication of his deputies in ensuring community safety, stating, "If you’re a fugitive in Franklin County, know this—we will find you."
Davis is currently held at the Franklin County Jail, awaiting extradition to Delaware and Maryland. The arrest marks the end of an extensive pursuit involving multiple law enforcement agencies.
