A 73-year-old man named Gerald Brown was arrested in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, after police discovered a large collection of child pornography in his former home. The material was found when the new owner hired someone to clean the property after purchasing it in a tax sale last year. The discovery included photographs and videos, some featuring young girls, with "Gerald Brown Photography" stamped on them. According to the Harrisburg Bureau of Police, Brown faces multiple charges, including four counts of child pornography, disseminating child sex acts, photographing or videotaping sexual acts, selling obscene material, burglary, and invasion of privacy.
Authorities reported that Brown and his nephew attempted to break into the home after the illicit images were found. They allegedly cut a lock to gain entry, prompting the new homeowner to call the police. Brown was arrested on Monday (April 7) after reportedly asking to retrieve photographs from the home, which police denied.
The investigation is ongoing, and the Harrisburg police are seeking information from anyone who may have been victimized by Brown or knows his whereabouts. Neighbors expressed shock and sadness over the situation, hoping for justice to be served.
