>Man Accused Of Spitting Blood In Officer's Face

In Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, Victor Campos, 46, faces multiple charges after allegedly spitting blood into a police officer's face during an arrest. The incident occurred on Wednesday (April 2) when Lower Swatara Township Police responded to a disturbance on the 2800 block of Turnpike Industrial Drive. Campos reportedly entered a truck driver's vehicle and physically assaulted the victim.

Upon the officers' arrival, Campos resisted arrest and, after being taken into custody, spat blood into an officer's face. According to WGAL, Campos is charged with criminal attempt robbery of a motor vehicle, aggravated assault to injure police, assault of a law enforcement officer, and two additional counts.

The Lower Swatara Township Police Department confirmed the charges, emphasizing that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Campos is described as a 5-foot-5, 200-pound Hispanic male with brown eyes and a bald head.

The case underscores the risks law enforcement officers face in the line of duty and highlights the legal consequences of assaulting an officer. Campos's court date is pending, and he remains in custody as the legal process unfolds.
