NTSB Releases Final Report On RM Palmer Explosion
(West Reading, PA) -- The National Transportation Safety Board released its final report yesterday on the deadly explosion at the RM Palmer factory in West Reading. The report confirms the 2023 explosion was caused by a degraded service tee that allowed a natural gas leak, and also identified several other safety issues that led to the blast. The explosion killed seven workers and caused over 40-million-dollars in property damage.
