Lancaster County authorities have identified a woman found unresponsive in the middle of a road early Sunday (May 4) as Magnolia Wintjen, 43, from Lititz Borough. According to the Lancaster County Coroner's Office, Wintjen was discovered near the intersection of Laurel Avenue and East Fourth Street around 12:04 a.m. by a patrol officer. She was found with her skateboard nearby and was immediately transported to Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at approximately 4:30 a.m.
The coroner determined that Wintjen died from multiple traumatic injuries. However, the manner of her death is still under investigation. The Lititz Borough Police Department is working alongside the coroner's office to uncover more details surrounding the incident. As of now, authorities have stated that there is no reason to believe there is a risk to public safety.
