Reading Police To Investigate Use Of Force Incident
(Reading, PA) -- The Reading Police Department is investigating an alleged use of force incident that has circulated on social media. According to WFMZ-TV, the video appears to show an officer punching a man multiple times while asking for his identification. Mayor Eddie Moran said the findings of the investigation will be reviewed by his leadership team, who will then take what he called "appropriate action." Moran added that "every resident deserves to be treated with dignity, and every officer must be held to the highest professional standards."
