York County Crash Injures Seven

A multi-vehicle crash in York County, Pennsylvania, on Monday (June 16) injured seven people and led to a temporary road closure. The accident occurred at the intersection of Stoney Run Road and Carlisle Road in Carroll Township shortly before 10:30 a.m. All seven individuals involved were transported to local hospitals, but their conditions remain unknown.

According to Ted Czech from the York County Office of Emergency Management, emergency responders extricated all patients by shortly after 11 a.m. The Carroll Township Police Department closed Carlisle Road at Stoney Run Road to investigate the crash, urging drivers to use alternate routes. The roads were reopened later in the afternoon.

Local 21 News noted that initial reports indicated people were trapped in the vehicles, but they have since been freed. The investigation remains ongoing to determine the cause of the crash and any potential factors involved.
