Detour Continues for Route 501 Bridge in Lebanon County
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that a detour begins for the Route 501 (College Street) bridge replacement project in Lebanon County.
The bridge spans Tulpehocken Creek between W. Richland Avenue and W. Center Avenue in Myerstown Borough.
A detour will be in place using Route 897 and Route 422.
This project consists of the structure replacement of an existing simple-span reinforced concrete slab bridge. Work also includes minor roadway approach work and other miscellaneous construction.
Lobar Site Development, Inc., of Dillsburg, PA, is the contractor on this $2,074,301 project.
All work is expected to be completed December 3, 2025.
