WEATHER WARN DAY FOR GUSTY THUNDERSTORMS:

Watch for continued flooding early this morning .... turn around, don't drown!

It will be a very warm and muggy morning with a passing shower in spots. As we move through the day, the threat for t'storms will increase once again. Any storm will be capable of very heavy rain and damaging wind gusts. Due to recent heavy rainfall in some areas, the threat for flooding will also exist. The threat for these strong t'storms will continue into the evening before things quiet down overnight. Due to the severe weather threat this afternoon and evening, the CBS 21 First Warning Weather team has declared today a Weather WARN Day.

SMOOTH SAILING INTO THE 4TH:

Gorgeous conditions will return on Wednesday with lots of sunshine and highs in the 80s. The beautiful weather will continue right through the 4th of July itself and the following weekend. It looks like we won't have Mother Nature's fireworks competing with the man-made ones this year!

Tonight: Mostly cloudy and muggy with gusty t'storms early: Low 68
