Thousands Lose Power as Storms Hammer Susquehanna Valley
Severe storms and flooding leaves thousands without power across the Susquehanna Valley for a second straight day. As of late Monday, Berks County was hardest hit, with nearly seven-thousand customers affected, while smaller outages were reported in Lancaster, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lebanon, and York counties. Strong winds and heavy rain caused widespread damage and downed lines throughout the region. Utility crews continue working to restore service as conditions allow. Residents are urged to stay cautious and report any hazards.
