A tragic incident in Cumberland County has led to murder charges against 56-year-old John Clark. Authorities allege that Clark intentionally struck a motorcyclist, Robert Allen Rustay, with his vehicle on Tuesday morning (September 30), resulting in Rustay's death. The incident occurred at the intersection of South Third Street and Clark Street in Lemoyne.
According to CBS 21, Clark admitted to police that he was upset because the motorcyclist cut him off, prompting him to chase and hit Rustay. Officers noted that Clark's vehicle was on fire when they arrived at the scene, and Rustay was found deceased nearby.
Clark also admitted to consuming alcohol before the crash, reportedly drinking vodka, though he was unsure of the exact amount. Police observed signs of intoxication, including glassy eyes and slurred speech, and Clark performed poorly on a field sobriety test.
