Authorities in Susquehanna Township, Pennsylvania, are investigating a home invasion and abduction that occurred early Saturday morning (October 4). Police responded to a call around 7 a.m. on the 4700 block of Tuscarora Street, where multiple suspects reportedly broke into a home and abducted a resident.
The suspects attempted to escape in a stolen vehicle but crashed shortly after leaving the scene. According to WGAL, Harrisburg City police assisted Susquehanna Township officers in apprehending one of the suspects who fled on foot. Fortunately, the abducted individual was found safe and has been reunited with their family.
The police believe the incident was isolated and that there is no ongoing threat to the public. However, they are continuing their investigation and are seeking any additional information from the public.
